The old wooden rugged Cross lying on the ground stretched out waiting to nail Jesus to the cross. When we think of the cross, it was nothing beautiful to behold, it was something that Rome used to intimidate and spread fear to its enemies. Yet even the worst kind of death that was humiliating and caused great suffering, could not defeat the Lord in HIs love for each of us and for you.
