A beautiful rainbow appears over the treetops after a long rain storm. God promised to never destroy the world again by flooding and gave the rainbow as a sign of His covenant with man and promise to never destroy the earth by flooding again. The rainbow has been degraded for other purposes thanks to a wicked and evil generation but it still is a sign of God's promises to man and when we see a rainbow in the sky it is a reminder of that promise made back in Genesis.
