One of my favorite verses is found in Luke 3:22 when it describes the Holy Spirit descending from Heaven like a Dove after Jesus was baptized. There is a stained glass window in my church that illustrates this verse and it always brings me great joy and peace to see it. When I think of the Holy Spirit, I think of peace, comfort and assurance that keeps us company and abides with us. "and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: "You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased. - Luke 3:22.
